Volunteers ministering in jails are:

The mind God thinks through;

The mouth God speaks through;

The heart God loves through;

The hands God works through.

While I have so much to be thankful for as the Director of this ministry, I am especially grateful for our volunteers.  They get to experience seeing men and women come to Christ and also experience the rejection that comes when an inmate choses not to accept Christ.  Both ends of the spectrum seem to challenge them to do more for the Lord.  They are not bashful; they make a stand for what the Bible says.

The Bible calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:25) and all of our volunteers know how to lovingly tell an inmate that he or she is in need of a Savior.  That, combined with the Lord's work in their hearts, is why we see such a high number of individuals come to know Jesus as Lord.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm.  Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.  1 Corinthians 15:58
